DANA LESLIE GOLDSTEIN (Book & Lyrics)

Dana Leslie Goldstein is a playwright, lyricist and poet whose writing has won the New England New Play Competition, Harold and Mimi Steinberg Playwriting Prize, Different Voices New Play Award, ACTF New Play Award, the Henry Hoyns Poetry Fellowship, AWP Intro Award and an Academy of American Poets Prize. Her work has been seen at The Cherry Lane, Culture Project, Julia Miles Theatre, The York, New Dramatists, Center Stage, BMI, Vineyard Playhouse, Pulse, Theatre Row, Gene Frankel, TBG, Acorn, Lark, Beckett, Neighborhood Playhouse, WorkShop, Pacific Theatre (Vancouver), TischAsia (Singapore), in the New York Musical Theatre Festival ‘08 & ’09, on Ellis and Liberty Islands, at the United Nations and on Equity TYA tours throughout the East Coast. Dana’s one-act musical This Year in Jerusalem (music by Jon Goldstein) will be produced this season at the WorkShop Theater, and she has been commissioned to create a site-specific theatrical work for the plaza of the Grace Building in Manhattan, to be presented throughout the spring of 2012. Dana holds MFAs in Playwriting and Poetry and is a member of the Workshop Theater, NewShoe and the Dramatists Guild.

JON GOLDSTEIN (Music)

Jon’s work has been seen in NYC at The Acorn Theatre, The Algonquin Theater, The Cherry Lane Theatre, The Culture Project, The Women’s Project, and The Workshop Theatre Company, Liberty Island and the United Nations; regionally at Hartford Children’s Theatre, Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center, The Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center and on Equity TYA tours. Jon produced educational touring shows with Theater Garden, Ltd; also provided music composition and music direction for LADY OF COPPER; SPARK & THE STRANGERS and ENOUGH FOR ALL, NATIVE AMERICANS & THE FIRST SHARED THANKSGIVING; vocal arrangements and music direction for FIRST LADY, ELEANOR ROOSEVELT & THE CHANGING ROLE OF WOMEN IN AMERICAN HISTORY. Jon’s latest musical THIS YEAR IN JERUSALEM, (book & lyrics by Dana Leslie Goldstein), will be produced by The WorkShop Theater Company in 2012. Bryan Crook is an in-demand producer, arranger, orchestrator, audio engineer and woodwind and double reed player in the NYC area. Orchestrations include Legally Blonde (Nat’l Tour, London) and Love, Inc. His work has been heard at Fox Sports, Comedy Central, with Blow Up Hollywood, Alex Skolnik and various corporate clients. He maintains a busy studio in LIC. Broadway subbing includes: West Side Story, Spamalot, Gypsy, Shrek, Little Mermaid, 25th Annual… Spelling Bee, Curtains, Legally Blonde, 9 to 5, In The Heights.

JOSH ZANGEN (Set Designer)

Scenic elements for Britney Spears Circus Tour as well as Kylie Minogue 2009 tour. The international hit Spiegelworlds’ “Desir”, John Lithgows’ “Sunny Side of the Street” (New Victory), “2 Girls for Five Bucks” (Ars Nova), “Zombie” (theatrerow/fringe), “Shafrika” (Vineyard). Industrial shows and events for Hallmark, Nascar, The History Channel, CNN and HBO. Last Fall, he worked with director/designer John Doyle on scenery for Sondheims’ “Roadshow” at the Public Theatre. Currently: Nickelodeon National Tour – “Storytime Live!”, Grand opening evening shows for Dallas Center for the arts directed by James Lapine and John Doyle.

OLIVERA GAJIC (Costume Designer)

New York based designer. She designed extensively for the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Juilliard School as well as regionally. She has been part of the US Exhibit at the 2004&2007 Prague Quadrennial and Curtain Call. She is recipient of the NEA/TCG CDP for Designers.

Theresa is an associate producer of Unlock’d, which won the Audience Award at the 2007 NYMF Festival. She also is president of Wozunk-Hester Music Productions, Inc., which operates Music Together of Park Slope and Musical Bridge of Brooklyn, two family music programs. She is a playwright whose works have been seen at WorkShop Theater Company, The Triad, Don’t Tell Mama, SoHo Playhouse, and the Samuel Becket and Harold Clurman theaters (pre-Theater Row redevelopment!) She is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, The Broadway League, and Theater Resources Unlimited.

LISA POELLE (Associate Producer)

Lisa Poelle has a multi-faceted background in musical theatre, communications, education, and community affairs. Currently, she works as an educational consultant in New York City. Most recently, she served as the CEO of Camp Broadway and prior to that was Director of Work/Life Effectiveness at Time Warner. In California, she was actively involved with the award-winning Children’s Musical Theater San Jose for 15 years, serving as Interim Managing Director, Board Member, and Show Coordinator. While on the Board of San Jose Stage Company, she provided marketing consultation. Ms. Poelle worked for seven years for Calpine as Director of Community Affairs and Manager of Investor Relations. As a small business owner, she ran Work & Family Focus, consulting to both corporations and working parents, in addition to teaching college. Political experiences include management of a mayoral campaign and event management of a presidential visit. Ms. Poelle holds a Master’s Degree in Human Development.

LEA WOLINETZ (Associate Producer)

Lea Wolinetz was an educator, teacher, mentor and administrator in the New York City Public School system for over 20 years. Following her career in public education Lea began a multifaceted life in the not for profit sector focusing on child advocacy, religious and cultural reconciliation, and holocaust education. Lea conceived and started Bridge of Hope, an innovative summer program for older children in international orphanages that has lead to thousands of placements and adoptions by United States families. Lea has also been a national coordinator for a cultural exhibition traveling thru major universities and venues throughout both this country and Canada. Lea serves on many not for profit boards and is the executive director of an international organization focusing on reuniting families that were torn apart during World War II. Lea is also a frequent speaker on Holocaust related issues and has been an interviewer with the Spielberg Foundation.
